Pray
Please pray for the staff and their families as they press-on in the inner-city of our nations capital.
Here are some key needs:
-Safety for the UO Team and neighborhood volunteers
(Remember, Ken was held up at gunpoint last year and car-jacked.)
-That God would help us share the 'great news' of Jesus Christ in every way
possible throughout our community.
-That we will be effective in mentoring and empowering new and
established local Christians to REACH OUT to their own people with the love of
Christ.
-For finances: not a penny more than we need to do God's work here,
but not a penny less.
-For donations of practical things such as cleaning supplies, food (for
our weekly hot meals and Food Pantry!), even unusual things like an occasional
gift certificate to a restaurant so from time to time we can bless our wonderful
local volunteers out to a nice lunch or dinner.
-That the Urban Outreach Worship Center Church would grow in maturity,
numbers of attendees, and that we would eventually need to move into a larger
facility! Southeast needs a church made up of its own people who are out to
'make a difference'!

--Seating & Furnishings: $4,000
--Foyer Rehab: $2,000
--Foyer Entrance Double Doors: $1,500
--Grading/Paving of Parking Lot: $20,000
--Make a PLEDGE per MILE for Ken’s
13 mile Half-Marathon run May 3rd!
